Thai Airways International Public Company Ltd., commonly known as THAI, was founded in 1960. It is the flag carrier airline of Thailand. THAI is a founding member of the Star Alliance. It was awarded by Skytrax as the "World's Best Cabin Staff" in 2006. In 2007, THAI placed second in the "Airline of the Year" category.
