SriLankan Airlines Ltd. is the flag carrier of Sri Lanka. The airline is not part of an airline alliance. In 2001, UK's Wanderlust magazine placed SriLankan Airlines eighth in its Top Major Airlines travel award category. In 2003, Skytrax voted SriLankan Airlines as Best Airline of the Year for Central Asia for the third consecutive year. TTG Asia also voted SriLankan as the Best Airline in South Asia in the same year.
