Pakistan International Airlines Corporation, or commonly known as PIA, is the flag carrier of Pakistan. PIA was founded in 1946, even before Pakistan was considered a nation. It is the 16th largest airline in Asia. PIA is the first airline in Asia to operate a jet aircraft and to show in-flight movies on international flights.
