Entrance Fee: 300 Yen
Opening time: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Directions:Take bus #100 or #206 from JR Kyoto station to Kiyomizu-michi or Gojozaka bus stops then some uphill walking of 10-15 minutes if you don't get tempted by the shops
Things to see: The water which flows from fall is said to be sacred thus the name which means clear spring. On the way to the top, the street is lined by street vendors, atop; you can visit 3 storey pagodas, temples and shrines built in the slope of a hillside. Nearby, there is another shrine, Jushu Jinja, where there are two love stones believed to bring luck in love life if you walked from one to the other with closed eyes.
