Delhi is the second largest metropolis of India. It also includes the area New Delhi, the capital city of India. Delhi has served as the capital of the country for several years under varying empires and has fabulous structures as remnants of the past. In the latter years, New Delhi was made as an administrative quarter of the city and after India gained independence from the British rule, it was proclaimed as the offical capital of India. Being the capital and seat of various government offices, Nw Delhi had made the metropolis an active Indian political arena.
