Borobudur
The largest Buddhist temple built as a shrine to Buddha as well as a pilgrimage site for Buddhists. This Buddhist monument is adorned with 2,672 reliefs and 504 Buddha statues. Golden Temple of Dambulla

Guia Fortress

Great Wall of China
Stretching over 4,000 miles, one of the most famous landmarks in Asia is indeed The Great Wall of China. It roughly traces the Southern border of Inner Mongolia, running east to west, through Xinjiang reaching Hebei province. The Great Wall is a man-made fortification, primarily built and rebuilt to guard the Northern borders during earlier times. Himeji Castle
One of the three famous castles in Japan. The castle dates back to the 1300's though it underwent major expansions in the 1600's. It is also called White Heron Castle because of its remarkable white outer walls. Standing on a hill, it formerly gave a strategic importance to its military function. Taj Mahal
