  • St. Paul - what remains are ruins of the former grand church. All that one may see are the facade and staircase. The Museum of Sacred Arts, which show cases paintings, murals, and holy items can be found at the back side of the ruins.


  • Guia Chapel - the original church dates back to 17th century but the currently standing structure is a restored one of 1996. Open daily.


  • Chapel of Our Lady of Penha - a pilgrimage site for sailors as the original was established in 1622 by sailors who escaped from being captured by the Dutch. Hours open are from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.


  • Chapel of St. Francis Xavier- contains a relic of a bone from the arm of St. Francis, one of the most sacred Christian, together with other relics of martyrs.


  • Chapel of St. James- The saint to whom this Church is dedicated is the military protector of Macau and special reverence is paid that guards are placed on duty to clean the statue's boots.


  • Our Lady of Fatima Church - located at 23 Rua de Lei Pou Chon, Macau, MO 64440 Macau.


  • Protestant Chapel - located inside the Protestant Cemetery adjoining the Fundacao Oriente.


  • St. Anthony ChurchOriginal structure in its compound was built in 1558 but the church had been burnt down several times and rebuilt, the last was that of 1930. Address is Rua de Santo Antonio, Macau, MO Macau.


  • St. Agustine Church - Unlike the other churches, this church receives less visitors as it is a bit out of the way for most tourists. External colors and design may be simple but the red carpeted interior possess a colorful altar. Address is at Largo de Santo Agostinho, Macau Macau behind the Leal Senado.


  • Sao Domingos Church - Offers a wonderful play of colors and fusion of old Europen and Asian style in its structure. Address is at Rua de Sao Domingos, Macau, MO 64440 Macau


  • St. Joseph's Church This 18th century church is renowned for its good acoustics and a structure that many finds fascinating to paint in canvas. It is located in Rua do Seminario, Macau Macau.


  • St. Lawrence's Church Like most churches, the exterior is a simple cream-coloured structure. The interior with its stained glass windows, altar with red carpeting, a blue ceiling and several statues gives one a serene moment. Address is at Rua de Sao Lorenco, Macau, MO 64440 Macau.


  • Cathedral of Macau - although the original wooden structure dates back to 1576, the present day is a restored concreted structure of 1937. NEar the Cathedral is also the Bishop's Palace.
