Five and Four Stars
- Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi - may be a bit expensive and seemingly luxurious but for one who has experienced 5 stars in the west- it may not be as fulfilling.
- Empress hotel Chiang Mai- a star less of the fives but price is also way behind lower. It has a good location being in the city's major business and commercial area.
- The Chedi Chiang Mai
- Four Seasons Chiang Mai- The name got some notable attachments for quality and elegance. Breathtaking but it will also take away some precious earning. The price is better to be traded for the simple and inexpensive lodgings along Ping River. But if someone else is paying, go ahead. Enjoy and pamper yourself in luxury amidst rice paddies.
Budget Lodging
Tanita Resort- It may be a little out of the way but the cheap price and the serenity of the place is worth having your rest there. Seldom does an inexpensive lodging make it to the top ten most popular in the Yahoo Travel List but this made it to the second. All positive feedbacks had been the most numerous ever so it must not just be good, it's excellent.
Green Tulip - Another amazing unrated inexpensive lodging but relatively famouse for cleanliness and a personal touch to their service.
Punpun Guesthouse - Also has special packages for cooking and massage classes and tours.

Economical Platter
