Baguio, is 5-6 hours travel by bus from Manila or 55 minutes by Air Philippines. Because of the elevated location and the many pines, it has a much cooler, more pleasant climate than Manila. It was a developed by the Americans and has been the location of the training grounds for the Philippine Military.

SM Baguio Mall - typical shopping venue for all your needs
Good Shepherd Convent - they sell the famous jams and delicacies. It actually supports the education of some less privileged children.

There's a wide range of fastfood in the city especially in SM mall. The list includes Kentucky Fried Chicken, Shakey's Pizza, Chow King(Chinese dimsum), Jollibee(Local counterpart of Mc Donalds), Starbucks, Don Henrico's (Pizza and Italian) and Tia Maria's (Mexican).
Gerry's Grill Ihaw-Ihaw - they serve, as the name implies, grilled food. Also located in SM mall
O Mai Khan - an eat-all-you-can Restaurant specializing in Mongolian barbeque and Chinese dimsum. Location is at 12 Otek, Baguio City. You may call +63 74 442 5885 to ask for directions,
La Chalet Restaurant - A bit on the high end but quality of Swiss food and ambiance is well worth your dollars. Location is along Session Rd. The area is in some sort of a complex with Bruno's cafe and Le Pettite Bar.
